Aelea Christofferson

Aelea Christofferson founded ATL Communications in 1991. Currently ATL serves more than 200 companies. The company specializes in assisting customers as an outsourced Resp Org service and implementing routing for multi-carrier least cost routing and disaster recovery for toll free numbers.
Christofferson also operates a small, rural CLEC and is active in state regulatory issues that support CLECs. Christofferson served as President of the local Chamber of Commerce, and the CLEC was named the Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year in 2000.
Before starting ATL Communications Christofferson held a management position at Pacific Bell for ten years. While at Pacific Bell she managed the team that introduced complementary toll-free service, served as the company’s representative on the national toll-free Database Committee to develop the toll-free service portability program. Prior to that Pacific Bell position she managed carrier account teams including AT&T’s special access account.
Since 2007 Christofferson has represented small business as a member of the Governor’s Committee for Health Care reform. She has served as president of the San Francisco Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Hayward and an MBA in Marketing from Golden Gate University. blished Articles
